Conservative activists have been out in villages to speak with residents about the potential closures of rural post offices.
The Labour Government does not think that these services are valuable to residents in small villages. Residents are very concerned about losing their local post offices as they rely heavily on their local post offices for banking, sending and receiving packages and parcels etc. Without their local post offices they will need to travel to a bank or post offices in towns. Some of the residents do not have the means to travel to their local town and this would make life very difficult if not impossible for them.
