After 24 years as a councillor in Brent and a period on the London Assembly, he was elected MP for Harrow East in 2010. Bob is also known across Westminster and beyond as an engaging and entertaining speaker, combining sharp political insight with wit and warmth—qualities we are delighted he is bringing to us this evening.
