Watton-at-Stone By Election

Despite a fantastic effort by Andrew Huggins and his team, we lost Watton-at-Stone yesterday.  Many thanks to all of you who helped.  We are confident that next time round we will win the seat back.  The result was as follows :

Unfortunately, there is a District Council By-Election in Watton-at-Stone in East Hertfordshire.  This is due to the sad loss of our previous hardworking Councillor, Michael Freeman.

Arbury Branch Lunchtime Drinks with John Flack MEP

Last Friday evening a full house welcomed ex-International Development Minister, Rt Hon Priti Patel MP, to the Broadway Hotel in Letchworth.

People from across the North Herts Constituency came to see one of the Conservative Party's most outspoken parliamentarians.

On Saturday morning,North East Herts Conservatives held their AGM at the Royston Conservative Club.

A well attended meeting thanked outgoing Chairman, Harvey Baker for all his hard work. They welcomed new Chairman, Ian Knighton and new Treasurer, Andrew Huggins.

Remembering our previous MP, Ian Stewart

North East Herts Conservatives were sorry to hear of the death of Ian Stewart, Lord Stewarby, who was MP in the previous North Herts constituency for 18 years.  He held various ministerial roles before entering the House of Lords and our MP Sir Oliver Heald followed him into Parliament.  We send
