A packed house at the Broadway Hotel,  Letchworth, heard an incisive speech from former Enfield North Conservative MP, Nick de Bois. Nick is a best selling author of the book ‘Confessions of a Recovering MP’.

A 507 Lorry Ban Agreed

Led by Conservative County Councillors, Hertfordshire County Council this week agreed to implement a lorry ban of over 7.5 tons from the Radwell Services roundabout to Clothall Road and Throcking Road to Warren Lane in Cottered.

A full house heard a fascinating talk from Lady Christine Heald on Sunday. By kind permission of Phillida and David, the historic home of Plait Hall was the venue.

Christine spoke about her life as the wife of a candidate, and MP and a  Minister, obviously Sir Oliver!

Letchworth Conservatives Action Day

Letchworth Conservatives were out in force on Saturday in Letchworth Town Centre. Sir Oliver Heald MP lead a team of activists and Councillors, including the Leader of the Council, Lynda Needham, in meeting residents and listening to their views.

A packed house at Letchworth Hall Hotel on Friday, for the North East Herts Conservatives Annual Christmas Lunch, heard a humorous speech from Will Goodhand, a candidate for the Party in Middlesbrough at previous elections.

Campaigning in North Hertfordshire

North Herts Conservatives were out and about across the Constituency on Saturday. Sir Oliver Heald plus councillors and activists handed out leaflets and listened to Constituents views on a number of issues.

Good news for Ashwell Community Bus

Following the campaign by Arbury Conservatives, Hertfordshire County Council and Conservative councillors have confirmed that they have awarded an emergency contract to ensure that the 202 Ashwell Station Link service continues to run from 19 November 2018 to 29 March 2019.
